How Is Skin Brightening Performed?
On the day of your appointment at MAI, we will have you lying down in a relaxed position to administer your peel. Annie will ensure your skin is cleaned before applying the personalized solution to your face and/or neck. The solution in chemical peels and The Perfect Derma Peel works by clearing away dead, damaged skin cells, which causes the top layer to slough off. After it sets on your face or neck for the time determined in your treatment consultation, she will wash the peel off and put on a neutralizing agent. As your skin recovers and starts to rejuvenate and repair itself, you will notice a brighter, clearer complexion.
